We let schools and teachers answer that question - whatever is helpful to you is what we want to do. Typically, we are able to visit our kids weekly at school and talk to teachers and school personnel about the child's progress. We also attend school-based meetings, such as IEP meetings and parent conferences, when it is helpful. In addition, we like to communicate with teachers and staff about kids' progress in and out of school. Often, it is helpful to teachers to learn more about the child's life outside of the classroom.
