Linda has been involved in YouthBASE since 2008 and was appointed
Executive Director in August 2010. She has extensive experience
working within the education system, including 12 years of home-based
schooling. Most recently she was a classroom and library aide in a local Title 1
elementary school.  With over 20 years of experience working in
community-based organizations, Linda has a passion for empowering
children and families. She brings to YouthBASE a renewed commitment to partnering with families in order to provide children with holistic support.
Linda and her husband Joel have three children: Hannah, Noah, and
Isaac. She enjoys reading, gardening, raising chickens, and has a weakness for
chocolate.

Chrissy Hensley -  Academic Coordinator

Chrissy Hensley joined the staff at YouthBASE in December, 2011 as Academic Coordinator. She will directly work with students weekly and work with teachers to coordinate daily activities to aid in student’s academic success. She has previously taught third grade for four years. Chrissy has a wonderful husband, Zack, who is an engineer. She also has two beautiful children. Her son, Chase, is three years old and full of energy. She also has a daughter, Cailin, who is six months old. Chrissy enjoys reading, games, cooking, making crafts with her kids, snow skiing, and hiking. She is looking forward to seeing the YouthBASE children grow and progress in all aspects of their lives.
